JOB SUMMARY
Marriott International has an opening for Director, Contract
Management, Global Technology (Telecom). -As a director, you will
support the Global Technology Business in developing and executing
effective contracting strategies for a technology category with a
focus on telecom contracts such as wireless, wired line, Internet
Service Providers, PBX contracts, Cloud PBX and other network and
telecom hardware, software and services. You will also ensure
contract compliance and reporting, in alignment with legal
requirements and Marriott policies. You will have the opportunity
to work with various technology partners and stakeholders, and to
draft, negotiate, and execute complex agreements. The Director
partners with the technology discipline leaders on all aspects of
the company's contractual agreement(s) with telecommunications
suppliers, including drafting, negotiating, and executing complex
telecom and network agreements. -
You will also manage the entire contracting lifecycle from
RFx/competitive bid process through contract negotiations,
execution, dispute resolution, benchmarking analysis, and renewals
and terminations. Collaborating with Global Technology business
partners, financial managers, and the Vendors and using your
extensive knowledge of commercial telecom contracts will be
required as you deliver optimal outcomes for Marriott functioning
as the contracts' subject matter expert in managing large complex
Telecom Agreements.

Education and Experience -
Required
--- - - -8+ years of complex Contract Management and Sourcing
within the technology and telecom space
--- - - -3+ years of telecommunications contract experience -
--- - - -Undergraduate degree -
--- - - -Familiarity with the procurement of technology products,
services, telecom and network connectivity
--- - - -Fluency with MS Office technology, including Teams, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint.
--- - - -People Manager Experience

--- - - -MBA in Finance/ Accounting or related graduate degree
--- - - -Demonstrated knowledge and mastery of Telecommunications
contracts, deep knowledge of doing business with Major Telco
communications providers

accordance with Marriott standards to protect Marriott's interests
and get the best value for the company including leading contract
negotiations (both legal contract language and pricing), developing
negotiating strategies through collaboration with product owners
and stakeholders, aligning internal stakeholders on requirements
and negotiation positions, setting expectations with all
stakeholders, drafting contract language in accordance with
Marriott policies and standards, and coordinating and scheduling
meetings.

aligned with the terms of the agreement.
