.NET Developer Job in Germantown, MD
 
Modis is seeking two .NET Developers in Germantown, MD (a mid and senior level).  The successful .NET Developer will design, develop, and maintain server side applications/services and web-based applications. This is an Agile environment.  Having worked in an Amazon Cloud environment is a big plus. Very cool technologies and fun work environment!
 
.NET Developer Requirements:

• 
  

• C# experience for 3 years and .NET 4.0 (5+ years for senior role)
• Windows Services in managed code
• Understanding of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
• Experience with WPF
• Experience with SQL Server 2008R2/2012 databases
• Experience writing multi-threaded programs
• Windows experience for 2 years (5 years for senior role)
• Strong object-oriented analysis, design and programming skills
• Experience using modern development processes/tools and developing through the complete Software Development Cycle
• Experience converting functional requirements into technical requirements
• Experience with Visual Studio 2010/2012.  Team System is a plus

 
.NET Developer Qualifications:

• 
  

• BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, training and a minimum of 7 years of experience
• 2+ years of experience with multiple technology disciplines,  including windows environment (5+ years for senior role)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to participate in a fast-paced environment
• An experienced developer that is in touch with new trends and is very familiar with rapid development.  
• The position requires individuals to be detailed oriented, organized, independent and accountable
• Experience working with Amazon Cloud technologies and services
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum Team
