Overview
The Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for a Senior Java Developer to work in Woodlawn, MD. This position requires onsite work in Woodlawn, MD five days a week.
Responsibilities

• Lead the development of innovative products and solutions through collaboration and technological assessment.
  
• Mentor technical staff, shape product vision, and support internal/external initiatives.
  
• Provide technical advice impacting client outputs and business results.
  
• Develop strategies by creating new solutions, processes, and standards to enhance market competitiveness.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  Qualifications
  

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
  
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  
  Required Skills
  
  • 
    
  • Extensive experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and JEE Technologies.
    
  • Experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST), Security, Node.js, Cloud deployment (AWS), and CI/CD tools.
    
  • Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
    
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and excellent communication skills.
    
    Desired Skills
    
    • 
      
    • Experience with web technologies, DevOps, version control, performance tuning, and SAFe methodology.
