Job Description Job Description Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting for a Cloud Architect to support our contract at the JWCC/PMO Support in Zachary Taylor Building – Arlington, VA Proposal Status / Key Personnel Designation This position is part of an active proposal effort supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) contract and is contingent upon contract award. This role is expected to be designated as Key Personnel (KP) within the proposal submission. Candidates selected for submission may be required to: - Participate in discussions with the delivery and capture teams - Provide supporting documentation for proposal inclusion (e.g., resume updates, certifications) - Sign a Letter of Commitment (LOC) indicating intent to support the program if awarded As a Key Person, your qualifications and experience will be critical to the overall strength and evaluation of the proposal. If the contract is awarded: - Employment will commence upon award and funding authorization - Candidates will retain the right of first refusal at the time of offer - Final role details, compensation, and start timelines will be confirmed at that stage This is a high-visibility opportunity to support a strategic DoD cloud initiative aligned to JWCC/PMO efforts. Position Overview The contractor shall provide subject matter expertise and technical support services for CSOs across multiple CSPs, encompassing off-premises, on-premises, hybrid, and tactical edge offerings. Location Zachary Taylor Building – Arlington, VA (HYBRID) Job Duties - Researching CSO technical feasibility in alignment with DoD demand signals and emerging requirements - Providing technical oversight and analysis of cloud architecture design activities to ensure alignment with business objectives and security best practices - Analyzing DoD demand signals to inform strategic decision-making and technology roadmaps - Providing analysis on XaaS CSOs across multiple CSPs to include off-premises, on-premises, hybrid, and tactical edge offerings - Evaluating specifications against DoD security, compliance, and performance requirements - Briefing the user community on cloud adoption questions and providing technical information on XaaS specifications - Contributing to user community round tables regarding cloud adoptions and CSO implementations - Coordinating input preparation for the verification of CSP requirements into Government provided tool(s) and tracking mechanisms - Assessing other DoD contract capabilities and CSP deliverables related to DISA cloud contracts - Providing analysis on the utilization of the JWCC contract in relation to commercial trends and practices - Supporting technical exchange meetings with CSPs and Strategic Partners - Providing technical expertise on CSO capabilities in alignment with DoD governance requirements - Reviewing and providing analysis of CSP deliverables to assist the Government in validation that DoD requirements and standards are met Core Competencies All personnel proposed for Key Positions shall meet the following minimum core competencies: - Possess the ability to communicate in both oral and written forms with all levels of staff and stakeholders - Demonstrate familiarity with DoD security requirements as applied to their subject matter expertise - Possess experience working in an IT environment similar in size and scope to this requirement - Possess a strong working knowledge of large, complex IT environments - Hold all required certifications IAW DoD 8570/8140 requirements Note: Exceptions to these competencies may be made on a case-by-case basis for individuals with highly specialized knowledge, or at the discretion of the Government.
