Job Description Job Description Attorney - Plaintiff PI Established (100 years) Premier Plaintiff Firm Seeking Personal Injury Associate Attorney in Alexandria An established Virginia-based firm with over 100 years in practice is seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its team in Alexandria . The firm is well known for its compassionate, client-focused approach and proven track record of achieving strong results for injured individuals across Virginia. This candidate will have an active VA bar license (D.C. and MD are a plus). This position offers meaningful client interaction, courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to handle a diverse range of personal injury matters alongside experienced trial attorneys. Offer: Salary range: $75,000-$150,000 depending on experience and seniority Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match (fully vested from day one) Health savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA) options Life, AD&D, and disability insurance Employee assistance program and referral program Paid time off (18 days PTO, 29 total days off per year) 11 paid holidays annually Potential for overtime, paid biweekly Paperless office with fully cloud-based systems for seamless collaboration Qualifications: 1-5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury Active Virginia Bar membership in good standing Active D.C. and Maryland Bar membership in good standing (Plus) Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus Experience handling discovery, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations Trial experience preferred, or a strong desire to develop courtroom experience Excellent communication and client management skills Ability to work efficiently in a paperless, technology-driven environment Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from intake through resolution or trial Conduct discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare motions and pleadings Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations and hearings Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to prepare for trial Maintain consistent client communication and ensure exceptional service throughout the case lifecycle - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
