Production Planner for a client in Liverpool, NY. This is a
direct-hire opportunity paying between $52,000 to $69,000,
depending on experience, and is within a growing manufacturing site
that is being positioned as a key production hub for apparel
embellishments. This role plays a critical part in production
scheduling, capacity planning , and cross-functional coordination
to ensure on-time delivery and efficient manufacturing operations.

paid holidays Position Overview The Production Planner is
responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules,
analyzing demand and capacity, and partnering with manufacturing,
materials, and logistics teams to support efficient, on-time
production. This role blends analytical planning with hands-on
coordination in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and supports
continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Key
Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and communicate production
schedules to support manufacturing efficiency and customer delivery
requirements Build and manage master production schedules in a
manufacturing environment Analyze demand, inventory levels, and
capacity to optimize production flow and resource utilization
Prepare and release shop work orders and coordinate closely with
schedulers and production teams Track production progress and
adjust schedules as needed to address changes, constraints, or
priorities Prepare forecasts and analyze trends related to
production, capacity, and peak season planning Develop capacity
models and scenarios to support readiness and long-term planning
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure
materials, timelines, and specifications are met Participate in or
lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives related to
scheduling and planning processes Serve as a key point of contact
between production, supply chain, and business stakeholders
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain,
Logistics, Finance, or a related field 3 years of experience in
production planning, scheduling, or supply chain roles preferred
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, materials
management, and logistics Excellent analytical, organizational, and
problem-solving skills Ability to work cross-functionally and
communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership
and urgency Experience with process improvement, lean concepts, or
continuous improvement initiatives preferred APICS certification,
Lean/ELS certification, or Green Belt preferred Pay Details:
