subsidiaries.. Yorktel is currently seeking an Avaya Software
Specialist who will need to be experienced with programming on an
Avaya CM, specifically station programming, route selection and
basic vector programming.. This position will be report to the
Yorktel Staffing head and be based at the customers location in
Bethesda, Md He/she will interface with the customer directly to
perform their role as well as with Yorktel internal departments for
support as needed.. Responsibilities:. This position regularly
influences internal and external customers to achieve a mutually
desirable outcome. This position will make recommendations to
internal parties and customers with regard to concerns or issues
and ensure resolution of any problems, working closely in
conjunction with assigned team members. This position requires
regular planning to support incoming Customer issues. This position
must regularly communicate answers to complex questions and respond
to detailed inquiries. This position may sometimes handle and is
expected to protect all internal and external confidential
information and must utilize discretion and judgment based on
company policies and procedures.. Provide support to internal teams
and clients on voice network and applications.. Work with clients
and internal teams to design and implement call routing solutions..
Recommend solutions, improvements, strategy, and architecture for
voice network and systems.. Technical Responsibilities:. Programs,
tests, debugs and maintains applications in client-server or
Web-based environment.. Addresses systems performance issues and
crashes.. Collects, compiles and enters data and processed
information into various software systems.. Provides data entry
support to department workers and professionals.. Monitors,
manages, projects and reports license usage to ensure compliance
for certain branded software packages and programs and recommends
other organizational IT purchases and procurements.. Work with
clients and internal teams to design and implement call routing
solutions.. Ensure incident tickets are attended to in a timely
manner, escalated as appropriate, and closed with proper
documentation.. Create and maintain job specific SOPs and work
flows. Skills and Additional Qualifications:. 4+ years of
experience with Programming Avaya Call Manager.. Must demonstrate
technical proficiency in areas related to work experience and/or
education.. Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks..
Willingness to research and figure out complex software..
Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies.. Ability to work
independently.. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
are required.. Organization and prioritization skills are a must..
Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and work
across all levels in the organization.. Demonstrated ability to
collaborate with project teams and managers as a service provider..
Ability to effectively interact with customers to discuss needs and
provide solutions.. Strong team player and team mentor.. Secret
Clearance required. Certifications:. Security + Certification.
Preferred certifications or equivalent; CASP, CISSP, CCNP Security,
