Your work will involve providing Tier 1 IT Help Desk support to
NSWC Carderock RDT&E network users along with troubleshooting
computer issues via phone, in-person and remotely.
Your work will also involve:
• Being responsible for oversight of team of Help Desk
• Interfacing with Government Help Desk leadership to
understanding priorities, upcoming initiatives, and urgent
• Collaborating with a variety of personnel (developers,
administrators, management) to create improved ITSM processes.
• Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with Help Desk
• Responsible for monitoring and meeting service level
• DOD Secret Security Clearance
• 4 years of IT Help Desk/Service Desk Support Experience with
at least 1 year in a leadership role
• A.S. Degree in a technical discipline OR a current CompTIA A+
CE, Network + CE, or a Security+ CE certification.
• Ability to clearly communicate via verbal and written
• Enjoys coaching and mentoring more junior team members
