HJF is seeking a Research Analyst to support the Data
Coordinating and Analysis Center (DCAC) within the U.S. Military
HIV Research Program (MHRP) located in Bethesda, MD. HJF provides
scientific, technical and programmatic support services to the DCAC
The incumbent provides epidemiological, computer programming,
biostatistical and laboratory procedure support for a specified
Initiates, designs, and implements epidemiological studies
supporting the research project.
Portfolio management including proposal review and project
Reviews project proposals and periodic reports with respect to
design, analytic approach, and/or reporting.
Provides ongoing evaluation of projects including occasional

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge and ability
to use and teach complex epidemiologic research methods for
assessing the risk of disease in humans due to potential risk
factors; advanced knowledge in statistical programming with
experience with advanced multivariate statistical methods;
knowledge of statistical and mathematical software including SAS,
Stata and/or R; experience in HIV, emerging infectious diseases
(EID), and/or clinical trials research; excellent written and oral
