Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Global Markets is currently seeking a Data Management /
Spectrum Protect Sales Leader to work with managers and sellers in
the Americas Geo on pipeline creation and opportunity
Drive IBM Spectrum Protect software revenue growth in the
Americas thru strategic and tactical business actions, including
specific sales plays to develop healthy out-quarter pipeline.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the IBM Spectrum Protect and
Lead and manage client events such as webinars and virtual user
Provide strategies and conduct territory reviews with managers
and sellers to create business development plans.
Assist IBM Storage Sellers with pipeline creation and deal
Provide enablement to IBM Storage Sellers on positioning of
storage software portfolio.
Actively engage with sellers and their clients on opportunities,
providing thought leadership to address client challenges.
Understand storage software Sales Plays, Channel Programs,
Incentives and effectively leverage them to drive desired
Foster the right behaviors, motivating and coaching business
Demonstrated ability to manage territory and business partner
Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating,
and closing large-scale technology projects to complex enterprise
Skilled in strategic and tactically sales strategies to grow the
Skilled in providing guidance to sellers to drive results.
Capable of supporting end-to-end sales engagements with the
ability to think, plan and act strategically.
Self-starter with eagerness to seek and build new skills.
Demonstrated Business/Territory development success.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 4-years of experience selling IBM Spectrum Protect
At least 3-years of business development experience, working
with sellers and business partners to grow their revenue of storage
Solid understanding of IBM Storage Software products and/or
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Deep understanding of IBM Spectrum Protect Portfolio and/or
Competitive experience in Cloud and Storage
