Job Description:

Position Summary:This position serves as a strategic HR Manager supporting multiple business units across the organization.  The position manages the day to day operations of HR functions including performance management, employee development, employee relations issues, and off-boarding. Position Responsibilities:Employee EngagementDevelop deep relationships with assigned business groups and serve as a strategic partner and advisor across HR disciplines, including organization design, talent management, etc.Build a personal rapport with employees to understand their professional development interests and needs and connect them with advancement opportunitiesPartner with the Employee Programming Manager to identify, develop and execute on programming (e.g., high potential program)Serve as the primary HR point of contact for all employees in assigned business groupsEmployee RelationsUnder the direction of the SVP, guide management and employees in resolving work-related issues in a consistent and equitable mannerProvide guidance, support, and recommendations for the resolution of critical and complex employee relations activitiesPartner with managers on all performance improvement plans and monitoring progress; coaching managers and employees through corrective action; and documenting as appropriateResponsible for conducting investigations for issues affecting employer/employee relations or compliance with regulations by conducting interviews, reviewing data, and discussing issues with involved partiesEffectively handle terminations as neededStaffingPlay a central role in supporting the workforce planning needs of business units, serving as a liaison with the Talent Acquisition teamAct as a point of contact for all new hires, helping to differentiate their onboarding experienceSupport the Company’s succession plansServe as the offboarding contact for all employees within business groups, including conducting Exit Interviews for all VP and below employeesHR Analytics, Budgeting, Compensation:Assist with departmental analytics – including turnover rates, HR activity levels, diversity measures, etc.Provide day-to-day oversight of compensation for the business groups.
