Controller-Bethesda-Rapidly growing!!!Creative Financial Staffing - Bethesda, MD - Full-Time$150,000.00 - $170,000.00 /Year Easy Apply Job details Controller Salary: $150K - $160K plus a 15% performance bonus Company : This is a rapidly growing organization that is a leading company in the childhood education arena that creates the most innovative and effective programs available for children through the 3rd grade. This position will be working remote initially. This position will have supervisory responsibilities for 5-7 staff reporting to their CFO. Position : This is a high profile position where the Controller can communicate openly with members of their Board of Directors. Preferred experience: The Controller position requires a candidate to have a degree in either Accounting (preferred) or Finance who is a licensed CPA with at least 5-7 years of accounting experience with responsibility for the GL month, quarter and year end close that includes preparation and analysis of Financial statements working with for profit companies. Also, additional responsibilities involved will be preparation of budgets and forecasts, preparation and review of corporate tax returns and completion of the annual external audit. Big 4 experience is required. Candidates who have a combination of Big 4 experience who have transitioned into corporate accounting is ideal. Experience with SaaS products is also required. MA experience is a plus, strong Excel experience is also required.
