What we're looking for:

Citrix Systems Inc. is looking for a Director to lead its Security Safeguard Program (SSP) Management team, enhance its ongoing engagement with law enforcement and support incident response management.

The SSP Management team is responsible for creating and managing the Company's program to identify, respond to and mitigate insider threats, and support the enterprise's investigative functions. The position will reside within the Legal, Compliance and Audit Team and reports to the Senior Director and Associate General Counsel, Litigation and Employment.

The Director, Security Safeguard Program will collaborate with leaders in IT, Global Security, Human Resources, and LCA (including Global Security Risk Services, Digital Risk, Privacy and COEs) to align on strategy and enforce the subsequent controls required to prevent data loss and protect corporate assets and reputation. The Director will work with key stakeholders responsible for the Company's high value assets to assess specific threats to their operations, design mitigation strategies and influence and assist business leadership in complying with the Company's information security policies. This leader will recommend changes to practices and policies and help direct the operationalization of program components. This leader will influence C-suite leadership to invest appropriate resources and focus in the most critical areas for successful risk management. This leader will coordinate with the leaders of digital and physical investigations involving the Company's high value assets and systems, provide operational and technical support to core systems utilized by the program and collaborate with stakeholders and team members to evolve the SSP over time. The leader will over time build a focused team of analysts and program managers to support this program. In addition, this leader will work with the Litigation COE to build Citrix's engagement with relevant law enforcement agencies, including at all levels of government domestically and internationally where the Company maintains significant operations.

The Director SSP and Law Enforcement Engagement will be responsible for working closely with the Litigation COE to review and respond to government and third party legal process and will work to support the Company's incident response processes.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

* Accountable for establishment and ongoing operation of the SSP Program, including the continuous evaluation of the highest risk issues for Citrix assets and people. * Responsible for assessing, recommending and influencing leadership to drive the right level of investment in critical areas of physical security, digital security and people processes to mature SSP Program. * Documents, manages, and operationalizes the SSP framework. * Reviews, monitors, and prioritizes SSP related functions, ensuring alignment with business strategy, information security practices, and adherence to program and broader company-wide policies. * Generates reporting with a synthesized view of enterprise-wide, insider threat risks and impact. * Promotes alignment and coordinates priorities between the ITP and other key organizational functions across the firm. * Develops or coordinates the development of training and awareness materials. * Administers and maintains inventory of SSP related tools and procedures, and works collaboratively to ensure their continuous improvement. * Oversee and/or assist in the resolution/containment of security investigations and incidents by working closely with GSO and GSRS teams. * Maintains SSP Playbook and Law Enforcement Guidelines. * Responsible for improving relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities through research, lab work, mentoring others, training, and other professional development activities. * Accountable to report on SSP incidents and suggest ongoing remediation including changes to Company processes and procedures. * Responsible for creating and executing strategy to enhance law enforcement engagement. * Coordinate with litigation COE, digital forensics team and product teams (using outside counsel as necessary) on law enforcement response, data transparency and guideline updates.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Defender ATP, DLP, CASB, User and Entity Behavior Analytics, and SIEM solutions. * Demonstrated history of building relationships with executives and senior level leaders with ability to influence processes and policies * Proven experience coordinating, managing and leading investigations * Strong operational background with the proven ability to define and leverage business metrics to manage departmental goals * Strong leadership skills with the ability to articulate a departmental vision that is aligned with both company and team strategies * Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams and collaborating across organizational boundaries, facilitating cross-functional teams, building consensus and obtaining executive buy-in * Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies including senior level executives, security, IT, legal, human resources, finance, * Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence, work, establish and maintain influential relationships with cross functional team members

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree required * 10+ years of law enforcement experience preferred * Security clearance preferred * Relevant information security certifications preferred * 5+ years of program management experience including management of large teams * Experience leading and motivating large teams * Strong operational background, with the proven ability to define and leverage business metrics to manage departmental goals * Strong leadership skills with the ability to articulate a departmental vision that is aligned with both company and team strategies * Positive attitude and willingness to travel on occasion as needed
