Job Description:

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineering Manager to join our team our e-commerce team. You will support a team of engineers focused on the development of the Totalwine.com experience, working with product owners and diverse partners in an agile environment. The Engineering team seeks to understand requirements and translates them into enhancements using React, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, and other UI technologies and the related backend services in the Go services layer that works with third-party services and SAP Hybris / Commerce Cloud platform. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager.

You will

  • Manage the performance and development of a team of software engineers at varying levels in an agile environment
  • Design and maintain software engineering applications, improving the engineering processes with scale
  • Plan, execute and oversee deployments and releases for production applications
  • Translate product roadmap, requirement documents and UX design specifications into technical design and implementation
  • Lead agile project estimation, reviewing and forecasting the outcome on a sprint-by-sprint basis
  • Administer support for partners, including the business, Product, Scrum Master, QA, UI/UX, DevOps and other Technical teams.
  • Evaluate new technologies to improve customer experience, time-to-market and engineering functions

You will come with

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in Computer Science, Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional managerial experience in managing the careers of engineers & their deliverables
  • 5+ years of experience with Javascript ES6, React, React Native, Redux, Node.js and in Backend service (Go/GoKit, Node/Express, etc) for Responsive and Adaptive Web Design
  • Experience developing UI for multiple devices (desktop, table, mobile, etc.)
  • Experience using modern, agile tools like Github, Jira, etc.
