is seeking a highly ambitious, adaptable, structured, and
detail-oriented Biologist to join our
vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National
Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Division of
Intramural Research (DIR), Laboratory of Immune System Biology
(LISB), Bethesda, MD.
- Perform a
wide variety of procedures and techniques which may include, but
are not limited to: mononuclear cell extraction from peripheral
blood and human tissue, high-dimensional flow cytometry, functional
studies of immune cells, DNA/RNA/protein isolation and purification
from a variety of sources, DNA sequencing, gene expression analysis
including RNAseq and other advanced techniques, ELISA, cell
culture, histology, etc.

cytometers, and analysis.

perform studies to characterize and assess human immune cell

genotyping and/or sequencing analyses of human DNA
- Knowledge of

genetics, genomics, single cell analyses, bioinformatics and
detailed records of experiments and their results and prepare the

laboratory-wide, NIH-wide, and national and international meetings

degree in Molecular Biology or a related field is required.
