The Trust Officer, Client Services Associate will assist and support Senior Trust Officers in the daily performance of duties and servicing of client relationships. Duties & Responsibilities: * Communicate clearly and effectively with clients (e.g. account owners, trust beneficiaries and portfolio managers) on a daily basis. Responds to their requests and works with them to resolve issues and meet their needs * Prepare and process cash contributions and distributions upon receipt of appropriate documentation * Facilitate stock transfers for gifting * Filing, copying, scanning and faxing * Utilize the UNITY platform for administrative services, account maintenance, and the creation of administrative reports * Process IRA and ERISA distributions. * Work with Senior Trust Officer to monitor cash positions in accounts on a daily basis and resolve any overdrafts * Maintaining administrative account files electronically through CRM * Organization of documents and correspondence * Complete special projects as requested * Support the Senior Trust Officers in all other aspects of trust administration * Other duties as assigned Selection Criteria: * Highly effective written and oral communication skills * Attention to detail and strong organization skills, with the ability to maintain legal documents * General knowledge of investment products * Problem solving skills * Ability to follow through on projects in a timely manner * Proficiency and experience using MS Word, Excel * UNITY and FIS Accounting system experience preferred, but not required * 1-2 years of experience in client services * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Chevy Chase Trust is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
