Summary of Position Primary responsibility is to work with SANS subject matter experts to design, develop and review training content, assessments, and supporting material. Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and deploy learning outcomes, learning experience design components with stakeholders and SMES so that timelines and shared business goals are met Review, edit and format training materials to ensure content and formatting consistency across all products Proofread and edit SME or others work - improve quality, readability, consistency, and effectiveness of training materials and to ensure brand standards Write training curriculum for products delivered in multiple training modalities and localized languages Regularly maintain and update course content based on quality reviews and feedback from subject matter experts, learners, Content Director, Digital Art Director, Director of Translations, and other functional areas Manage multiple projects with competing priorities concurrently Manage the development and resources utilized for the integration of all content in the eLearning asset inventory and training content library Research and apply emerging technology and concepts to training initiatives Design and assist in developing eLearning modules to support business needs Other tasks, as needed Basic Qualifications Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in developing eLearning or other training software packages for Learning Management Systems Experience with eLearning content creation tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline and Rise Experience in a post-production editorial environment with knowledge of industry standard workflows and organization Proficiency in the latest versions Microsoft Office Experience using Slack, Smartsheet, and Dropbox Strong understanding of adult learning principles Proven ability to build, manage, and improve learning programs and projects via ADDIE / SAM design methodologies Possess experience creating online training using eLearning authoring tools, such as Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline Aptitude for continuous learning and new skill development Reporting Relationships This position will report to the Content Director. This position will not have any direct reports. Work Environment Remote work environment.
