Assistant Community Manager - Tax CreditRecertification for all residents in full compliance with LIHTC regulations. Essential Duties

  • Maintain property waiting list
  • Coordinate on-site data collections and processing of resident information
  • Schedule resident recertification interviews
  • Ensure proper calculation of income, assets, rent levels, etc
  • Coordinate apartment inspections for recertification process
  • Maintain resident files in accordance with company policy & regulatory agency policy
  • Assist office staff on other tasks, including collection of rents and social activities
  • Assist with the several administrative and leasing tasks
  • Perform other duties that may ariseJob Requirements
    • Bilingual English/Spanish
    • 2+ years of Property Management Experience
    • 2+ years of LIHTC experience, required
    • Excellent and premiere customer service orientation
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Accounts receivable and collections experience
    • Must have two years recertification experience
    • Attention to detail and ability to work independently on assignments
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, One-Site Property Management Software and Internet EducationHigh school diploma, GED or Equivalent. This position requires the ability to read and write English and Spanish fluently, accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions and understand and perform all on-site resident management software functions. Professional Experience A minimum of three years of experience in residential property management as a Assistant Community ManagerAttendance/Travel RequirementsThe position requires the ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. Due to the property staffing limitations, it is extremely critical that individuals be able to work their scheduled hours on a consistent basis and, if necessary, overtime hours when requested. The position requires the ability to serve on-call, as scheduled or as necessary. Travel may be required at times to attend various owner gatherings either in the general vicinity of the associates home property, or in another state. You must also be able to attend certain resident events that are held after hours.Computer SkillsMinimum of basic knowledge of computers, Ability to use Outlook and OneSite/Yardi. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suites and basic Internet knowledgePhysical DemandsMust be capable of physically accessing all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities.
