Since 2007, ZemiTek has provided technical assistance, project management, information technology (IT), knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation, training and learning development, and institutional support services.Position Description:ZemiTek is seeking a Contract Administrator to provide support to the corporate office in the management and administration of contracts.Location: Bethesda, MDWork Schedule: Remote/HybridStarting Salary: Salary range starting at $100,000 (salary commensurate with experience)Responsibilities:Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and subcontracts.Draft and track teaming agreements.Draft contract documents including budgets and memos necessary to execute subcontracts and contract modifications; create, prepare, review, and edit subcontracts to ensure accuracy.Monitor contracts and subcontracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal according to what's best for the company.Track and monitor upcoming contractual actions and deadlines.Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and up to date.Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.Contribute to the resolution of contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself.Research, analyze, review, and provide advice and guidance on all applicable policies and regulations.Identify potential improvements to existing policies.Analyze contracts to ensure the company complies with state and federal laws and regulations.Conducts special projects as assigned.Reviews new contracts to ensure all necessary clauses have been included.Monitors contractor performance for compliance with applicable laws, delivery schedules, payment provisions, contract data reporting requirements, and other contractual requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 6+ years prior experience in a contract administration role.Exemplifies knowledge of contract law.Understanding of FAR and DFAR is required.Knowledge of ADS and AIDAR is preferred.Has strong negotiation and mediation skills.Possess superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Should exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.Must have excellent analytical thinking skills, and creative problem-solving abilities.Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology.Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team.Exemplify strong attention to detail.Possess superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office and G Suite.Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.Capable of professionally managing confidential information.What We Believe:If you are hired for a ZemiTek corporate, project, or consultant position, we will require proof that you have received the COVID-19 vaccine and are fully vaccinated, unless you qualify for a reasonable accommodation due to a valid religious or medical reason preventing you from being vaccinated.ZemiTek is an equal opportunity employer where an applicant's qualifications are considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or expression, national origin, genetic information, veteran status, disability, or any other basis prohibited by law.ZemiTek is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
