JOB SUMMARY---
DUTIES:
Promotes project quality and manages multiple application
development teams for customer facing web and mobile applications
(including Marriott.com and Marriott Mobile) to promote client
satisfaction with all technology teams and business partners by
following standard application development tools and processes.
Manages continuous improvement program to improve quality,
consistency, and client satisfaction.
Provides thought and application leadership for mobile and web
applications and their integration into other platforms to support
customer experiences.
Collaborates with cross functional teams and provides direct
oversight of applications supporting business goals.
Works with direct reports to facilitate consistency of service
delivery across client groups.
Facilitates compliance with the standard set of application
development tools and processes that will drive consistency and
predictability throughout the SDLC.
Drives adoption of CMMi or similar metrics to demonstrate
continuous improvement and alignment with the industry.
Demonstrates continuous improvement through metrics of quality
consistency and client satisfaction.
Works with application development service providers, IT teams, and
business partners to implement continuous improvement
activities.
Responds to issues identified in project surveys or other feedback
processes, to continually improve client satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree** or foreign equivalent in Computer
Science, Computer Applications or related field followed by 10
years of progressively responsible application development
leadership experience OR Master's degree** or foreign equivalent in
Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field and 8
years of application development leadership experience.
Qualified candidate must also possess:
8 years experience leading technology teams in creating and
supporting enterprise-scale public websites and/or customer-facing
mobile applications;
7 years of technical experience within Digital architecture
development, integration of backend systems and development;
4 years of experience with Digital Customer Experience platforms
(Adobe AEM and Marketing Cloud, Analytics, Launch, Target);
3 years of experience managing cross functional, sourced, or
matrixed teams;
5 years of experience with architectural frameworks and the various
approaches to the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
2 years of experience managing complex budgets in excess of $5+M
direct and indirect costs;
2 years of experience managing multiple Omni-Channel development
efforts integrating with multiple back-end systems;
2 years of Experience with Automation, CI/CD, Release Management
processes and Application Deployments to Adobe Cloud; and,
2 years of experience working in a Product-based model and building
strong partnerships with Product owners by providing innovative
technology solutions to complex business problems.

evaluation service to be the academic equivalent of an US degree
will be accepted. Knowledge may be demonstrated through education,
training and/or experience.
Position eligible for full-time telecommuting, may be performed
from anywhere within the U.S. Up to 10% travel required.

$172,623.00 to $275,021.00 annually.
Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is
$172,623.00 to $250,016.00 annually.
New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only: The salary
range for this position is $172,623.00 to $275,021.00 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is
$172,623.00 to $275,021.00 annually. In addition to the annual
salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus
and restricted stock units/stock grants. Employees will accrue
0.4616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive
minimum of 7 holidays annually.
