Your broad responsibilities will include overseeing a service delivery team while providing medical case review services of injured workers' files. Ideal candidates will possess both a nursing leadership background that enables them to supervise, coach, and easily interact with nurse cars managers, as well as a professional background that enables them to easily interact and establish deep professional relationships with team members. As a Case Manager Supervisor, you will collaborate with the Early Intervention Manager and Director of the Early Intervention Unit to ensure consistent delivery of case management services. ResponsibilitiesWork independently in your home office setting while supervising a team of case managers.Provide direct supervision to case managers in the assigned team in the application of corporate policies and procedures, case management protocols, timesheets, PTO, and expense review and approval.Uses experience and expertise in the Case Management process and coaches the staff on the RN - the patient-physician collaborative process of assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation to address patients holistically. Provide supplemental support and assistance to Case Managers during staff transition and/or spikes in assigned caseloads.Support the development and enhancement of corporate policies and protocols that relate to case management services.Conduct periodic reviews of designated cases for quality improvement, support implementation, and monitoring of quality improvement plans.Provide Customer Support in designated areas and assists regional CM in the delivery of customer support.Effectively counsel and coach employees on performance and behavioral improvements. Understand and appropriately apply employee disciplinary procedures. QualificationsUnrestricted State Registered Nursing License, Nursing diploma, BSN preferred3-5 years of clinical experience 1 year of workers' compensation, utilization review, disability case management, occupational health, and or comparable field3-5 years program and staff managementNational certification in a related field or obtained within 12 months of the date of hireDemonstrated ability to work independently and along with othersAttention to detail, timetables, and commitment to completing tasksExperience with Microsoft Windows and computer savvyMust be well organized, efficient, and able to prioritize competing priorities and make sound judgmentsAbility to define, and resolve problems and challenges in a workplace settingResponsible for having reliable High-Speed Cable or Fiber Optic Internet serviceMust have Excellent People Skills, and Communication Skills via Phone, E-Mail, Text, Written, and Verbal formats, and provide 24-hour follow-up to all communicationU.S. CitizenshipPrior to hiring and training must be able to pass a preliminary credit and background checkAbility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the public trust levelIn addition to a competitive salary, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, and incentive compensation, MCA offers participation and vesting in a 401(k) plan with a company match.
