an important role in the initial and ongoing training and staff
development of employees and nurse case managers focused on
empowering and sustaining health by making a positive, measurable
difference in the health of workers? It takes a critical
combination of technical skills balanced with people skills to be a
remote Corporate Trainer.As a remote Corporate Trainer, you will be
part of a supportive team. Through the application of a unique mix
of experience and certification, the Corporate Trainer will lead
the execution of all phases of SGS employee training as an integral
aspect of the quality management department in collaboration with
other SGS departments. Responsibilities include developing training
materials, planning and coordinating live, remote, and web-based
training offerings, as well as facilitating new hire orientation
and continuing education. Additionally, the Corporate Trainer leads
the activities of the SGS Training Committee and oversees Committee
activities.Corporate Trainer Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Quality Management team and key internal
staff to effectively understand and address training needs.
- Develop scripts and assist in the production of training
material and videos or multimedia products in collaboration with
other MCA colleagues, as applicable.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders on
training development, tools, and methods to help address corporate
training needs.
- Design and develop training content and resources such as:
- -Training Modules
- -Job Aids
- -Quick Reference Guides
- -Quizzes/Assessments
- -Help Menus
- -Instructor Guides, and
- -Performance Simulation
- Deliver training with tracking and measurement of
outcomes.
- Develop training evaluations to collect data about training
effectiveness.
- Facilitate the Training Committee by overseeing the agendas,
minutes, and tracking of action items.
- Collaborate and clearly communicate with other MCA departments
about training needs, requirements & initiatives. Corporate Trainer
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in education, healthcare, or a
related field, education may be substituted with experience
including four or more years of experience in staff training
&/or quality management.
- 2 years of experience in education or training & development
and evaluation. Self-motivated with strong interpersonal,
persuasion, and facilitation skills with people of different
levels, backgrounds, and personality styles.
- Experience preferred in creating web-based e-learning
modules.
- Experience creating and executing learning strategies.
- Experience leading and executing blended learning
solutions.
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, persuasion, and
facilitation skills with people of different levels, backgrounds,
and personality styles
- Ability to work in a team environment to build rapport and
positively relate to a remote team and on-site staff
- Ability and commitment to learning content and processes
related to SGS services
- Exercise judgment and discretion in selecting methods,
techniques, and evaluation criteria
- Exceptional analytical and problem-resolution skills; ability
to exercise independent, sound judgment
- Must have Excellent Communication Skills via Phone, E-Mail,
Text, and Verbal presentation
- Well organized, efficient, and able to work independently and
within a team
- Responsible for having reliable High-Speed Cable or Fiber Optic
Internet service and Internet Router for remote work
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook,
PowerPoint, Excel), experience with an authoring tool such as
iSpring or Captivate, and computer savvy
- U.S. Citizenship
- Prior to hiring and training able to pass a preliminary credit
and background check
- Upon hire, federal security clearance will be required
