IT Specialist (Network System Support)ROLEWe need an experienced
IT Specialist (System Support) at the Marine Corps Public Health
Center (NMCPHC) and the Naval Dosimetry Center (NDC). The NMCPHC is
the Navy and Marine Corps center for public health services. The
NDC serves as the Navy's ionizing radiation dosimetry center of
excellence for radiation protection programs for the Navy and
Marine Corps. The NDC provides leadership and expertise to ensure
mission readiness through disease prevention and health promotion
in support of the National Military Strategy. In this role, you
will provide directorate support to resolve IT program and
implementation issues with cross-platform data and ITsystems. This

Monitor and assist in carrying out
server maintenance functionsAssist in resolving IT program and
implementation issues with cross-platform data and IT SystemsAssist
in the planning and designing of systems architecture to support
command requirementsEnsure the rigorous application of information
security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices
to the delivery of application Software services -REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical skills in VMware
Infrastructure (5, 4.1), VMware ESX 3.5, and VMware
Fusion/WorkstationTechnical skills in Structured Query Language
(SQL) and experience developing SQL reports -EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Engineering,
Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fieldMinimum
five years of experience with system administrator duties

Master's degree preferredDesigned and
implemented system architecture, testing, and security protocols
