The St. James is seeking Swim Coaches (for youth private lessons) -to join its Aquatics team at its new location in Bethesda, MD. -The St. James is the premier sports, wellness, and active entertainment destination brand in the country, with the mission to maximize human potential by designing, developing, and operating sports, wellness and entertainment destinations that engage, inspire, and empower people to pursue their passions and be their best at play, at work and in life. Our new location at Bethesda features a premium Performance Club, with intentionally designed spaces, state of the art equipment and performance-based programming. We need to identify, select, and train a team of passionate teammates who can deliver on our promise to provide excellence in all we do, including provide comprehensive results in a premium hospitality fitness environment.Description: - - - - - - - - - - - - - The St. James Swim Academy is a program dedicated to the growth and development of beginner to advanced swim athletes through group and private lessons. Private lessons are a flexible option for -athletes of all ages and abilities. Private lesson coaches have the ability to create a schedule that works best for them! All coaches are required to provide the highest level of instruction to their athletes.Requirements:

• Must have a valid lifeguard certification
• Must have 2+ years of coaching experience
• Must have competitive swimming background
• Must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours every week including weekends
• Must be able to work with athletes of all ages
• Must be comfortable communicating with parents and team membersPreferred Requirements:
  • Should be available past 4-7pm on at least 2 weeknights a week
  • Should have a consistent schedule week to week
  • Should be able to commit to the swim season (September - May)
