Must have an active armed DC SPO license $1,000 hiring bonus Full Time Opening Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of timeAt least 1 year of armed experience As an Armed Special Police Officer you will serve and safeguard clients on the WMATA transit system. Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving mannerConduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.Minimum Requirements:
  Must have an active armed SPO licenseBe at least 21 years of age for armed rolesPossess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experienceAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
