Complete Building Services, a building operations and facilities maintenance company, is currently seeking a--Chief Engineer in the Bethesda, MD area. The Chief Engineer must possess a M aryland First Class license and be available to work Monday-Saturday. Responsibilities Responsibilities to include:

• Provide Quality Control services for the work of subordinates and subcontractors to ensure maximum efficiency, economy, and quality of work performed
• Perform diagnostic and repairs on building systems
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety system repairs
• Maintain records and prepare required reports
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work on a daily basis--
• Prepare and issue solicitations for the Contractor as necessary for the acquisition of goods and services in support of the contract requirements
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and project tracking software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications The Chief Engineershall possess the following minimum qualifications:
  • Must possess a Maryland First Class license
  • Universal CFC
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of engineering and building systems
  • Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required
  • Ability to read, review and--understand blueprints
  • Ability to work--independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
