seeking an experienced individual to work as a Scientific Policy
Analyst (Minority Health and Disparities) at the National
Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.This is a long-term contract
position which offers:

- Collaborate with the Office of Strategic Planning, Legislation
and Scientific Policy (OSPLSP) and other NIMHD staff on strategic
planning, implementation and monitoring, scientific reporting and
policy development.
- Contribute to scientific activities for assessing minority
health and health disparities research, including coding NIMHD's
funded research, and reviewing and coding biomedical and behavioral
interventions for inclusion in a publicly accessed database.
- Synthesize information, write and edit scientific documents and
prepare PowerPoint presentations for multiple audiences to include
scientists, policymakers, and the lay public.
- Write scientific narratives in response to congressional
questions and requested reports, policy analysis and concept
development management.
- Attend meetings, present results and findings to staff for
discussion.The contractor must have:
- Ph.D. in Public Health, Population Health or a related
disciplineSkills (Ranked By Priority)
