Job Description:

with the leading medical research center in the world. We are
seeking an individual to work as a Policy and Program Analyst at
the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. This position
can support a hybrid work arrangement with on-site work being
performed in Bethesda, MD.
This is a long-term contract position which offers:

TASKS/SERVICES. The contractor shall:
(1) Contribute to policy development and review to ensure
procedural and grammatical accuracy, and conformance to policy as
part of several NIH-wide programs managed by the NIH Office of
Management Assessment in the Division of Compliance Management
(DCM)
(2) Develop or revise standard operating procedures, guidebooks,
templates, and training materials
(3) Provide program advice and guidance to staff, managers,
leadership, and other offices related to programmatic or procedural
requirements
(4) Research, analyze and evaluate findings including written
recommendations
(5) Collect, analyze, summarize and report relevant qualitative
program and statistical information, including preparing reports,
graphs, etc. for use by leadership
(6) Review and assess IT systems, databases, and workflows, and
provide documentation on findings and recommendations
(7) Prepare summary briefs for senior leadership, including the
research and analysis of historical findings, background,
considerations, and recommendations as requested
(8) Coordinate with staff and provide recommendations of program or
project enhancements or changes to improve the effectiveness and
efficiency of operations; develop policies and procedures to
enhance and streamline functional areas.
(9) Assist with meeting preparation, coordination, organization,
documentation development, note taking and meeting follow-up
REQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have:
(1) Bachelor's degree in field related to Business Management and
Administration
(2) Experience developing, reviewing, and analyzing policies and
related data
(3) Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from
various sources to prepare slides and reports for senior
leadership
(4) Overall project management experience related to report
generation, workflow/process improvement, and meeting preparation
and coordination
