JobRapid Finance -is seeking a talented individual with outstanding
critical thinking and analytical skills to join our growing
Financial Planning and Analytics (FP&A) team. The Financial
Analyst position will be highly visible within our organization,
providing value-added insights to assist the Company in portfolio
management and in the execution of strategic initiatives. This
position will be located in our -home office -in Bethesda, MD. This
role will be Hybrid/ one day in the office. -The Financial Analyst
will provide critical support to the FP&A team in accomplishing
the following team goals:
Driving, Coordinating & Reporting
Business Performance -- promoting a strategic focus by linking
business and financial plans to strategic goals and tracking
execution of strategy.Financial Planning -- enable a better
understanding of where the business is heading with the use of
dynamic models.Financial Analysis -- providing insightful and
actionable analysis for consumption by the C-Level, Senior
Management, and Board.Treasury Management -- maintain the Company's
senior lending relationships through daily communication of cash
requirements, preparing monthly reports about the company's
financial condition and projections, and regularly monitoring
business decisions against senior lending covenants.In this role,
the Financial Analyst will need to:
Owns assumptions, outputs, accuracy
and recommendations for each assigned task - - - - - - - - - - - -
- - - - Design, develop, back test, and own dynamic financial
forecast model(s) (horizontal statements, key financial metrics,
covenant calculations) and the analysis supporting key input
assumptions - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Creates templates,
presentation, model, etc. without guidance (although feedback is
always encouraged when available) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
- Continue to refine financial review process and presentation
templates to communicate variances between actual performance, plan
and forecast on a regular basis - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Recommend solutions pertaining to budgeting and financial goals - -
- - - - - - - - - - - Provide business support from both a
technical and analytical perspective. Offer advice, technical
support and training to end users as needed - - - - - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - - Support Management team by providing reports to
multiple internal customers to help them better manage their areas
of financial responsibility - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Participate in finance related discussions as required - - - - - -
- - - - - Monitor key levers to ensure financial and operational
objectives are being achieved - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
- - Perform special projects as needed - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
- About You
-3+ years of progressive finance
experience, with a track record for solid business judgement and
good decision making - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Bachelor's degree in Finance strongly preferred or on quantitative
degree in Business Statistics, Economics, or AccountingSQL
experience preferred - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Able to
independently navigate through complexities of the business and
role - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Always takes
initiative (Does not wait around for answers - goes and find,
