Position Summary:
Reporting to the Manager/Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations, the
Supply Chain Coordinator II is responsible for the management and
oversight of perpetual inventory locations, such as the hospital's
central storeroom, surgical storeroom, or procedural area
storeroom. This position will be accountable for the configuration
of the storeroom environment including all item par levels to
ensure inventory meet's the institutions supply demands, the set up
and proper labeling of bin locations and the functionality of
hardware in the core inventory environment. This position will also
be responsible for the oversight and management of inventory
control operations such as daily cycle counting and review of
restocking orders prior to transmission. This role is also
responsible for case cart operations in relation to picking,
returning, and restocking supplies in core areas and case
carts.
Other responsibilities include:
* Manages in bound parcel shipments through the verification of
contents against packing slips and the management of SAP goods
receipt process
* Regularly processes outbound returns to the external vendor or to
the Consolidated Services Center * Responsibility for SAP inventory
transactions, including the issuance, return or adjustment of
inventory into locations
* Reconfiguration of par levels, bins and items, including the
physical location, area layout and adjustment in inventory
management system
* Picks and assembles case carts with speed and accuracy while
paying close attention to the manufacturing part numbers,
quantities, expiration dates, and the sterility of
supplies/instruments.
* Utilizes EPIC for the OR schedule and Snap Board, printing DPCs,
utilizing scheduled instrument by case reports and audit trails
* Performs various SAP transactions; expiree, goods
issues/returns/receipts, par and storeroom printing, etc.
* Interacts with a wide range of Operating Room staff in critical
situations to provide direct materials support
* Monitors inventory movement within supply area and requests
changes to materials leaders to remove slow moving items or
increases par levels for fast moving items
* Participates in the daily unloading and loading of the truck from
the Consolidated Services Center in an effort to ensure an on time
arrival and departure of all supplies across the health system
* Manages the restocking of supplies for the hospital's emergency
carts, including the review of expired or short dated items.
Restocking procedure should not exceed more than 40 minutes per
cart
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Work Experience: 2 years of prior professional work experience
required. Experience in a warehouse, hospital supply chain or
customer service role preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum $17.11/hour - Maximum $28.26/hour.
Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for
roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary
discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any
subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate
and any hiring authority.
