Join our team of caring colleagues and help us make a difference in the lives of those, specifically survivors and the brave responders, directly affected by the September 11th terrorist attacks.As a *** Government Solutions' Temp Member Care Advocate you will be responsible for providing high quality customer service to members of this important program.Member Care Advocate ResponsibilitiesAssist members with day-to-day benefits and health care related questions and/or issuesAnswer phones and respond to incoming inquires timely and compassionatelyConduct member contacts related to benefit support, referral follow-up and resource inquiriesAssess callers' needs and triage to the appropriate internal team members per documented guidelinesProcess incoming calls, voicemails, and chats from members and providers resolving their benefits related questions and issues in accordance with guidelines and policies.Complete outbound calls to members and providers scheduling a variety of medical services in accordance with member and provider availabilityRefer to resources and document all activities in system(s), ensuring contacts, information gathered, and next steps are properly documentedPerforms other duties as assigned.Member Care Advocate QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required. Associate degree from an accredited college or university preferred.Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.Four (4) years of administrative and/or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Experience working in a Call Center Environment preferredExperience working in the Health Care industry preferredExcellent oral and written communication skillsPC literate, including Microsoft Office productsStrong organizational skillsGood interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to meet or exceed Performance CompetenciesSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo a financial and criminal background check and obtain and maintain confidential-level security clearance upon hire.
