BETHESDA MEMBERSHIP SALES MANAGER POSITION DESCRIPTION -The St.
James is seeking -a Membership Sales Manager to join its Sales team
at its new location in Bethesda, Maryland. -The St. James is
building the premier sports, wellness, and active entertainment
platform in the country, with a mission to maximize human potential

best at play, at work and in life. - Our Performance Clubs are an
elite approach to health, wellness and human performance, providing
the opportunity to leverage tools utilized by professional athletes
to maximize their potential - namely performance training,
nutrition and recovery. - In short, it's a space designed,
outfitted and programmed to allow everyone to train like an
athlete. - - -The St. James Performance Club in Bethesda will
feature intentionally designed spaces, state of the art equipment
and performance-based programming. - We need to identify and select
a team of passionate teammates who can deliver on our promise to
provide excellence in all we do, including provide comprehensive
results in a premium hospitality environment. -The Membership Sales
Manager is responsible for the overall operational and financial
performance of the Reston membership sales department, including
profitability, asset management, compliance, member satisfaction,
sales, personnel training, and employee development. S/he provides
leadership to accomplish overall departmental objectives. Our Sales
Manager will work hand in hand with the General manager, Sales
Ambassadors and Corporate VP of Sales to guarantee operational
excellence. -WHO YOU ARE -
Proven ability to develop and execute
growth strategies serving customers and clients. An active
communicator who set the cadence and process for team dialogue.
Results driven and capable of driving accountability throughout the
facility. Able to translate vision/mission of The St James into
actionable plans. -RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Manages the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales
reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization.
Builds, leads, and develops a team of skilled, successful Sales
Ambassadors (membership staff) in order to consistently exceed
monthly goals.Oversees and participating in appointments with
members and membership related events to ensure the highest level
of success.Develops business relationships through prospecting in
your personal network, community surrounding areas, businesses, and
organizations and through leads.Sets appointments to present
membership offerings with a strong emphasis on relationship
building and helping the customer achieve their fitness
goals.Manages and maintaining all prospect information in database
to 100% accuracyProvides customer satisfaction and retention
support as needed to maintain existing client
relationships.Provides management with accurate forecast, funnel,
and all additional required activity/sales metrics.Attends weekly
meetings, trainings and coaching sessions with team and senior
management.
- Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of
quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales
organization's planning efforts.
- Analyzes sales performance and proactively identifying
opportunities for sales process improvement and error
reduction.
- Owns the cancellation and member status change processes.
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for daily sales
operations.
- Directs the use of enabling technologies, including CRM, for
the sales team.
- Develops and performs internal daily audits to detect errors
and ensure data integrity. -QUALIFICATIONS -
Bachelor's degree from a four-year
college or university - 2+ years of work experience in an
analytical, quantitative role Proficiency in computer skills (i.e.,
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point) Strong analytical and
reasoning skills--ability to define problems, collect data,
establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Experience documenting
and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies Prior
Experience in a Sales, Marketing, or Business Development function
